Custom Cabinetry & Built-Ins in Bonita Springs, FL
Most homes in Bonita Springs are newer, and most of them came finished. The cabinetry went in on the builder's schedule, sized to standard boxes, and it's the same package the neighbors got.
That's usually fine until one room isn't. A wall that needs storage nobody makes. A space where nothing off the shelf fits the dimensions. A room you'd rather look at than tolerate.
That's the work we do — one piece, built for one space, in our North Port shop.
The Walnut Built-In

The lighting is set into the shelving rather than mounted under it, so what you see is the light on the wood and not the fixture producing it. The lowers open on push latches instead of hardware, which keeps the face of the piece uninterrupted — no pulls, no knobs, nothing breaking the run of the grain.
Walnut is a deliberate choice here. It's darker and more figured than the maple and oak most cabinetry uses, and it costs more. In a room of white walls and light flooring, that's the whole point.
How a Custom Piece Gets Built
Consultation. We come to the house, look at the space, and talk through what you're trying to solve. Measurements happen here, but so does most of the design thinking — what the room can hold, where the light falls, what you actually need to store.
Design. You see the piece before it exists: dimensions, materials, finish, hardware. Changes happen at this stage, on paper, where they're free.
Build. It's made in our North Port shop, not ordered from a supplier and assembled on site. That's the difference between custom and semi-custom, and it's why the piece fits your wall instead of nearly fitting it.
Installation. Scribed to the wall, leveled to the floor you actually have, finished on site so the joints disappear.
Working in a Finished Home
Bonita Springs projects are usually in houses that are already done — decorated, lived in, and not being torn apart.
That changes how the work gets handled. Floors get covered. Cutting happens in the shop, not the living room, so the dust stays where it belongs. The install gets scheduled around the household rather than the other way around.
The finished piece should look like it was always there. Getting there shouldn't feel like a renovation.
