Custom Closet Systems — Lakewood Ranch, FL

This Lakewood Ranch homeowner had the problem that comes standard in most newer builds: wire racks. Clothes sliding into the gaps, shoes piled on the floor, and three feet of dead air above the rod doing nothing.

We stripped the wire shelving out of both the primary walk-in and the secondary closet and built full systems in prelaminated plywood — not the particleboard the big closet companies use. It holds a load without sagging, takes a screw and keeps it, and the factory-applied surface stays clean and consistent through years of daily use.

The walk-in got double-hang sections to double the usable rod space, a full-height angled shoe tower, a three-drawer bank, and a wrap-around top shelf that finally puts the upper wall to work. The reach-in was laid out in three bays — double hang on both ends, a center drawer stack with a folding shelf above, and angled shoe shelving tucked into the lower left.

Matte black bar pulls and polished chrome rods throughout, every piece cut to this house rather than pulled from a kit.
