The Design Challenge: Tech Meets Texture

Our clients wanted a focal point that could house a large-scale television and a modern fireplace without the room feeling dominated by 'black boxes.' The solution was a balanced, symmetrical built-in that treats the wall as a single architectural element.

Craftsmanship Details

• Floating Oak Shelving: These aren't just boards on a wall. We engineered heavy-duty internal brackets to allow these thick-profile White Oak shelves to 'float' without visible supports, maintaining a clean, high-end look.

• Integrated Lighting: Each shelf level features recessed, low-voltage LED puck lights. This creates depth and allows the client to highlight decor and collectibles during the evening.

• Recessed Media Niche: To achieve a flush finish, we built a custom niche for the 75" display. This prevents the TV from protruding into the room and allows for a 'framed' aesthetic.

• Natural Oak Lower Cabinets: The base units provide essential storage for media components and gaming systems, featuring grain-matched oak doors and a shadow-line kickplate for a contemporary 'floating' base effect.

The Result
