The Solution: A Masterclass in Brightness

At RMS Custom Woodworking, our strategy was to strip away the visual 'weight' while increasing the technical functionality of the space.

• Precision Inset Cabinetry: We designed and installed custom-milled white cabinetry with a clean inset profile. This creates a flush, furniture-like finish that provides a sense of permanent, high-end luxury.

• Architectural Focal Point: The bulky, dated range area was replaced with a custom-built, multi-tiered hood shroud. The natural wood trim on the hood acts as a bridge, tying the new white cabinetry to the warm tones of the existing flooring.

• Waterfall Island Redesign: We swapped the traditional fluted island for a modern, minimalist prep station. This opened up the walkways and provided a clean, uncluttered surface for both prep work and entertaining.

• Integrated Illumination: We didn’t just add lights; we engineered a lighting plan. Frosted glass upper cabinets with internal LEDs act as a secondary light source, giving the kitchen a soft 'ambient glow' that transitions the room beautifully from day to night.
